Edel 600 for sale Edel 600 for sale, named Orca Year made: 1981, equipped with a 2010 Suzuki DF6 outboard engine. Port space included all year round at Port Camille Rayon in Golfe-Juan. The Edel 600 is a very robust day sailboat, one of the first models built in fiberglass. With a length of 6m, it is below the threshold requiring a VHF permit and licence, however a portable VHF is included. The sailboat sleeps 4 people and has a cabin with a double deck at the front and two single beds. It comes equipped with a gas heater and a sink. A small camping fridge is provided, as well as a portable chemical toilet. The boat has an electrical installation and is equipped with a solar panel to maintain the charge of the battery during stays out of port, with a Victron Energy system. Battery powers lighting, water tap, probe and 12V charging outlet. All equipment and accessories are included in the sale. On the outside, the Edel 600 is equipped with a straight bar commanding saffron, a good-sized anchor tucked in the front trunk, ideal for wetting, swimming or lunch. He has a grand veil and a wrapper genie. The Genoa was replaced by a new custom-made model in 2023. The grand sail was on board when the boat was purchased and would have been replaced by the previous owner with a used sail. A SPI is also stored on board for light winds. The cockpit is equipped with a drill, loch and compass replaced with new ones in 2022. The straps are in good condition and the sail is protected by a cover when the boat is in port. Orca is sold with all its equipment and with port space for the whole year (fees settled until December 2026). Unfortunately, the owners no longer have the necessary time to maintain the boat or to enjoy it at sea. The Edel 600 is a very strong day boat, one of the first to be constructed from Fibreglass. Its length of 6m is under the requirement for licensing and VHF radio communications, however a portable VHF radio is included. The sailing boat can accommodate 4 people and has a cabin with a forward double berth and two single berths. A gas stove and sink are also installed. A small camping fridge is provided along with a camping chemical toilet. The boat has electrical power, and utilises a solar panel to maintain battery charge when away from port with a Victron energy system. The battery powers the lights, water tap, depth sounder and a DC charging socket. All accessories are included with the sale. Outside, the Edel 600 has a tiller to steer the inboard rudder, a good size anchor in the locker to hold the boat whilst you enjoy a swim or some lunch, as well as a main sail and furling Genoa. The Genoa was replaced by a new custom made one in 2023. The mainsail was with the boat when we purchased it and is believed to have been replaced by the previous owner by a second hand one. There is additionally a spinnaker stowed onboard for light wind. In the cockpit is a depth sounder, speedometer and a compass which was newly replaced in 2022. Lines are in good condition and mainsail is covered when in the marina. Orca is being sold with all contents and with the full year mooring (fees paid until December 2026) as the owners are unable to dedicate the necessary time to maintaining her and also to sailing and enjoying her out on the water. They enjoyed many fond memories during ownership, and want to find an interested buyer who can take the time to maintain and enjoy the use of Orca.
